Entice

Treasures shine
pleasures lure
senses trust
promises keep
pressures mount
thoughts linger
lovers know
time allows
all that will be

Cadence

The cadence of 140
ever true to tell
the stories, snorts and sound bites
do excite or quell

Change

The squeeze is on
ever greater
For those who suffer
are the light
that shines justly
for change

Ease

Of thoughts contrived
for later use
colors drench
the canvass

Of blissful verve
for stories told
words caress
the pages

Of timely lust
for passions known
pleasure seeks
the dawning

Of simple ifs
for you are here
lovers ease
the yearning

Impact

Stars collide
particles drift
time allows
water moves
flowers bloom
pretty is
lovers leave
thoughts remain

Prose Affair

You wandered by
I stopped to look
you spoke
I listened
you kissed me
I liked it
Kissed you back
all over
You disappeared
then returned
Delightful bliss
as time allowed
You're gone now, again
In my heart lingers
one sweet love affair

To Be

Sunshine
hikes
Daydream
wonders
Starshine
fires
Distant
thunder
Lightening
mesmerizes
Tequila
induced
Stories
told
Loosely
goofy
Content
to be

So

Fooled around
and fell in love
we know the lyrics
Temptation
doesn't cover it
Nor does yearn
desire, long, hunger
thirst or crave
Left to hanker
a crude enough path
leads to musing
lasting as long as the Universe
so written
Time and circumstance
won't allow thread bare
the truth of future
left empty
untouched, unclear
Trust waits here
