Ode To Hot Flashes

oh hot flashes
oh heaters
I'm surprised every time
you heat me up
and make me sweat
and make me cold
and throw off my concentration
and cause my friend to wonder
about her turn


Hysterectomy

on my way
eliminated fuss
bleeds no more
minus her uterus
