Distance

When words replace action
music holds us like lovers

an approach without footprints
a reach without touch

how new to my heart
the distance dissolved

you're further away than a dream

  1. It's lovely dear. What happens when we begin to regret our dreams?

  3. This speaks directly to me in this particular time. I find myself aroused and alive to an attraction that has nothing at all to do with flesh, presence, proximity. It has everything to do with written words. So there is a dreamlike quality to this feeling that lasts through each day. He makes me want to write erotica. You make me want to write my ferocity. Maybe I'll combine the two.

I'm catching up on your poetry Jenny, with my morning coffee. that line tumbles through and I'm thinking a million miles into a distance that I can't know which way it came from or goes... just one line. my goodness. I like your work.

  5. Great lines Jenny! Loving the absolute realization of words that have to replace actions... connected and unified by music! So true and so wonderful and fragile at the same time... as love often becomes ...
